Fits my Meade DSX-125AT perfectly. Works beautifully on cooler evening when dew is more likely to form in the wee hours. Also, it serves as a nice "light pollution" blocker if you live in suburbia. I've never tried star-gazing in a big city, to me it seems nearly impossible except for the constellations made up of stars with high magnification....so I can't comment on this item's abilities in urban setting.
The install & removal is effortless with the threaded external rim edges, but don't even think about leaving it on all the time because the lens cover doesn't fit. The two items, lens cover & dew shield do not work together...it's one or the other, but not both.
