| Customer Reviews: Great spotting scope for the money!! July 24, 2010 N. Smith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This scope is great value, you get a lot of features for a low price. It is very affective on the 100 yard line (longest the range I went to had) even with the heat waves. I'd say 150 yards would probably be the maximum during a hot day, maybe 200 yards if it were cool out and there were no heat waves to distort the picture sight. The angled eye piece is great and it flips over 90 degrees so you can mount it right next to you and just lean over a few inches to check your shot(s). It has a build in level, the focus adjusting button is conveniently located, and the tripod is decent enough; I set it up next to the shooting bench fully extended and it held quite well, even with the scope tipped 90 degrees. It can be easily knocked over because it's top heavy but if your careful it should be sufficient. The unit comes with a hard case as well as a soft carrying case and is a good buy/value for the casual shooter who is looking for something to spot long distance shots with.
Meade 20x60 spotter scope June 19, 2010 Nicholas Tornow (USAF) I bought this spotters scope at a store here in Okinawa. I was immediately skeptical because of the price, it being only 79.99 I didnt think it would be anything of worth but figured I would give it a shot. I was VERY surprised to see how well this scope did even in the humidity and heat here on this tropical island. I can definitely see using this when I get back stateside to sight my guns in, and while hunting. I definitely recommend this spotters scope. It is worth every penny for 79.99.
I was reading some of the signs above a gas pump at about 175-200 yards.
Great for the money March 16, 2009 Thomas A. Holecek (Lexington, KY USA) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I've only had a chance to have it out once but so far I am very impressed for the money. It is very good up to 100 yards yards then falls off from there. Optics are decent and and certainly adequate for target shooting. It isn't going to compare to a high end scope, especially in low light and at longer distances but for a typical day, its pretty good. If you are looking for a good scope on a budget, I would reccomend this.
Good Spotting Scope May 12, 2010 Thomas B. Wright (Woodstock, Maryland USA) I use this for 100-200 yard target shooting. This is good out to 200 yards with .223 on splash targets but I would not go any further. Good spotting scope for the money.
